Hello, my name is Madison! I've been a devoted animal lover for as long as I can remember. When I was five, I asked my parents for a cat — specifically a pink one, not yet aware of the limited palette cats come in. Instead I grew up with three cats and a black Lab, every one of them black. Superstition says that's bad luck; they've been the luckiest thing in my life.
I've been caring for animals since childhood, with hands-on experience in grooming, medication and medical care, pet sitting, and daily care for a range of species. Animals are my greatest passion, and I try to prove that through every action I take.
I treat animals the way I would treat a person — with the same respect and care I'd want for myself. I especially enjoy being an advocate for them: noticing what they need and want when they can't put it into words. Words only go so far, so I make a point of showing how much I care through what I actually do, and I'll do the same for your pets.
When I'm not pet sitting, I'm usually outside walking or running, staying active and spending time in nature. At home, you'll find me with my cat or reading. I'm heading into my third year of college as a psychology major, and I spend much of my free time deepening that knowledge. I'm fascinated by the psychological processes of both people and animals, and I bring that understanding into how I read and care for every pet I meet.
