Sarah Silver

Sarah Silver brings 12 years of experience as a business owner, music instructor, and professional musician to the software development team at Georgia Pet Pal. Her entrepreneurial background and meticulous eye for detail translate directly into clean, reliable code and thoughtful problem-solving. Working closely alongside Jacob, the Pet Pal founder, Sarah helps build and maintain the systems that keep everything running smoothly for Pet Parents behind the scenes — making booking, scheduling, and invoicing seamless and stress-free.

Sarah's fascination with technology started early. As a kid, she spent hours building elaborate houses, customizing their layouts, and managing entire virtual worlds in computer programs — an early spark of the same curiosity that now drives her to design software people genuinely enjoy using. That spark grew throughout her life: in music school she worked hands-on with music software and digital production tools to compose and create music on the computer, and a later role in accounting gave her deep, practical experience with spreadsheets and data. Together, these experiences shaped a developer who's as comfortable with the technical details as she is with the bigger picture.

Sarah loves animals of all kinds. She grew up with dogs, cats, horses, and turtles. Her favorite childhood pets were an orange cat named Sunny, a grey long-haired cat named Smokey, and a Jack Russell/rat terrier named Lacey. A pet she's never had but has always wanted is a snake.

When she's away from the keyboard, Sarah is a professional violinist who loves to play for weddings, events, and concerts, performing modern, classical, and Irish music. She has performed with the Trap Violinist Clejan and many local groups. Some of her favorite artists are Hozier, ABBA, Linkin Park, Alex Warren, Vivaldi, Schumann, Dvořák, Tommy Peoples, Martin Hayes, and Sia.
