Hello! I'm Summer Backer, and I've had a love for animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up around dogs sparked my passion for caring for pets, and after moving to Georgia, I became a proud cat parent to two wonderful cats of my own. For the past two years, I've also volunteered at local cat shelters, where I've had the opportunity to care for and connect with cats of all personalities and backgrounds.
Whether your family includes dogs, cats, or both, I understand how important it is to know they're receiving the same love, attention, and care they're used to while you're away. I believe every pet deserves patience, compassion, and plenty of affection, and I'm committed to making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy in my care.
Outside of pet care, I'm an English major who loves reading, writing, watching movies, and spending time with friends. I enjoy getting to know both pets and their people, and I look forward to building trusting relationships with every family I have the pleasure of working with.
